Alyson Lee Hannigan

Alyson Lee Hanigan was born 24 March 1974. American actor and host of television, she is the daughter of Alyson Lee Hannigan. Her credits include Willow Rosenberg (1997-2003) in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Lily Aldrin (2005-2014), where she won a People's Choice Award in 2009 and Michelle Flaherty (1999-2012). Hannigan hosts Penn Teller: Fool Us since 2016. Teller the Fool Us is a show that has been on the air since the year 2016. Hannigan is also Claire Clancy, an animated character from Fancy Nick (2018-2018). Hannigan was born to Emilie (Posner) Haas and Alan Hannigan (a Teamsters worker). Hannigan was Hannigan's only child. Hannigan's mom, who is Jewish, is also Irish. At age four, Hannigan began appearing in commercials. She moved to Hollywood with her mother at the age of eleven old. Her father, who was a casting agent, was with her in Santa Barbara. She auditioned. After high school, she attended California State University Northridge. After graduation, she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega, a sorority where she earned a psychology degree. Hannigan's first film appearance was in the movie My Stepmother Is an Alien in 1988. Seth Green was also one of her co-stars and was later her co-star on Buffy. Hannigan first appeared in TV in 1989 when she was cast as an actress on ABC's sitcom Free Spirit. Hannigan was only 14 years old old when she became a babysitter to Bob Saget's children. Saget was Hannigan's How I Met Your Mother co-star. Hannigan was then chosen to be the character Willow Rosenberg (Buffy Summers' best friend) in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The show was awarded her public's attention in 1997. She also watched over Bob Saget's children in the show How I Met Your Mom. Angel requested that she play Willow's part in a few episodes.
