Roselyn Sanchez was born April 2, 1973 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She is a writer and actress well-known for Act of Valor (2012), Rush Hour 2 (2001) and Without a Trace (2002). Eric Winter is her husband. She has been wed to her on November 29th, 2008. They have two children. She was earlier married to Gary Stretch. She relocated to New York City when she was 21 to pursue acting, singing and dancing classes. She was also a model on the Puerto Rican comedy show Que Vacilon! In the mid 1990s. In 1993, she was Miss Puerto Rico Petite. In addition, she was awarded Miss America Petite in 1994. The course was in marketing at the University of Puerto Rico, but did not finish. Attended Colegio Espiritu Santo in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Stuff magazine's list of the "102 Sexiest Men in The World" (2002) ranked her 50th. was featured as #49 in Maxim Magazine's "Hot 100 of 2002" supplement. (2002) The magazine was ranked as the top 100 in FHM's 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2005 special supplement. (2005). Mother, with husband Eric Winter, of daughter Sebella Rose Winter (b. November 3, 2017). She auditioned for the role as Gabrielle Solis in Desperate Housewives (2004) but was not able to get the role to her fellow actress, Eva Longoria. Marc Cherry, the creator of the show Desperate Housewives (2004), would be a friend to both actresses. Longoria and Cherry also worked together in Devious Maids (2013) in which Sanchez portrays Carmen Luna. The actress returned to work less than two weeks following giving birth, to host the 2017 Latin Grammy Awards. Justina Macado is a friend.
