2 Chainz Biography

Tauheed Epps (also known as 2 Chainz), is a popular American hip hop and rapper artist. He is a Georgia native and formed the hip-hop duo Playaz Circle with a friend from high school. Their debut album, 'Supply & Demand was a modest success. Epps later released 'Based on a T.R.U. Story', his debut studio album. It was a huge success and debuted at number 1 on US Billboard 200. In the very first week following release, it sold out to 147,000 copies. After the album's release He hasn't been looking back and has now become one the best rappers in the US. He has been honored with six Grammy awards, and has won one for his song "No Problem". After he was found with marijuana and promethazine in his bag, he was taken off a plane at Los Angeles International Airport. This led to controversy. But his brush with the law hasn't affected his popularity. His fourth and most recent studio album entitled "Pretty Girls Like Trap Music" was released in June of 2017. 'Based on the T.R.U. Story', which was the debut studio album of 2 Chainz, can be considered to be his debut album, as well as his most successful one. The album reached number one on the US Billboard 200. It also sold 147,000 albums in just a week. The album sold 623,000 copies during the period of the year. It was nominated for the 55th Grammy Awards for 'Best Rap Album'. The reviews for the album were mixed. 2 Chainz married Kesha Wade in 2013. The couple is proud parents to three kids, Heavenly, Harmony, Halo. He has a very successful career, but the man is also famous for his mistakes with the law. He was arrested several times for drug possession.
