Mila Kunis Bio

 Mila Kunis, born Milena Kunis in Chernivtsi Ukraine on the 14th of August, 1982. Kunis immigrated to Los Angeles with her parents Elvira (her parents) and Mark (her older brother), at the age of seven. It was a hard beginning for the Kunis families, who came to their new home with just $250. Kunis' parents, both of whom gave up their professional jobs to relocate to a better place for their children and were determined to create an improved future for their family. Mark, a former mechanical engineer, quickly found work as a cab driver, while Elvira, who had taught physics in Ukraine, wound up running a pharmacy. Kunis stated that he didn't completely comprehend the American cultural norms when he first came to America. "I did not know anyone. I did not know the language. My first sentence of my essay to get into college was"Imagine being deaf and blind at age 7.' That's what it felt like moving to the States. But I got over it pretty fast." Milena Markovna Kunis was born the 14th of August, 1983 to Mark Kunis and Elvira in Chernivtsi, Ukraine. Her older brother is also hers. Her mother works as an instructor of physics and manages an pharmacy. Her father, a mechanical engineer by profession, doubles as driver for taxis. The family relocated to Los Angeles in seven years. Rosewood Elementary was her school. When she was just nine years old, she began acting classes. After auditioning for several commercials and a variety of other commercials, she was an actor in her first appearance on television on Days of Our Lives’ in 1994. The first time she was cast on the 1998 sitcom That ’70s show as Jackie Burkhart. Her performance earned her rave reviews. In 1999 she was cast in the role of Meg Griffin on the animated sitcom Family Guy.
