Elizabeth Leigh Vassey

American actor Elizabeth Leigh Vassey, born August 9, 1972, is an American. She is known for her performances as Emily Ann Sago, Captain Liberty and Captain Liberty in All My Children and in The Tick. Wendy Simms as Wendy Simms in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in 2001. She also played Wendy Beaumont in Nikki & Nora in Nikki & Nora. Vassey played teenager Emily Ann Sago on the soap drama All My Children from 1988 until 1991. From 2004 until 2005, she was a recurring role on the television show Tru Calling as Dr. Carrie Allen.She appeared in several episodes on the sitcom Two and a Half Men. The episode "The The Last Thing You Want is to Get a Hump" from 2003, she was featured in "Twanging Your Magic Clanger" and "The Crazy Bitch Gazette" (2011) as well as in "Nice to Meet You, Walden Schmidt" (the season premiere featuring Ashton Kutcher).From 2005 to 2010 Vassey played a part in recurring roles as Wendy Simms on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Starting with the tenth season, Vassey was promoted to a regular cast member and was first featured in the opening credits. Entertainment Weekly reported on June 1st, 2010 that Vassey was not returning for the eleventh season of the show. Vassey appeared in one episode of the season. Vassey is married to David Emmerichs, a camera operator.In 2002, she and her co-star Kristin Bauer, Vassey started a company called Neurosis to a T(ee) which creates and sells slogan-covered T-shirts for women. The slogans are typically humorous and relate to female anxieties and neuroses.
