Kaitlyn Ann Vincie

Kaitlyn Anne Vincie (born on December 10, 1987) is an American journalist and sportscaster. As an anchor for Fox NASCAR, she presents on their daily news and update program NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie was initially interested in stock car racing after she was granted a pit-lane pass. She later graduated from Christopher Newport University and worked as a reporter at Langley Speedway. When SceneDaily published her self-made videos blogs about NASCAR her name was noticed. Vincie was born on the 10th of December 1987, in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and was raised in Bridgewater before her family relocated to Warrenton after Vincie had entered high school. She is the granddaughter and daughter of John Vincie and Margaret Vincie. Vincie's maternal grandmother Eleanor N. Logan was an educator in the fifth grade while her grandfather was on faculty at Bridgewater College. From an early age Vincie showed an interest in journalism. Vincie graduated in 2006 from Fauquier High School. She participated in the track and field, and was a coach of the school's team in wrestling for four years. Vincie was the winner of the 800m race of the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie met Al Pearce, who mentored her. He also provided lots of information. In 2010, Vincie graduated from Christopher Newport University with a bachelor's degree in communication. Vincie worked as an intern for the athletics department at the university. She also worked for Charlotte Motor Speedway's USAR Pro Cup Series. Vincie wrote a senior dissertation on the subject of gender in auto racing that was specifically focused on Danica Patrick, a female race car driver. She began to become interested in the sport after receiving a pit lane pass to the NASCAR All-Star Race. Her main influences are Wendy Venturini, Krista Volda, and Wendy Venturini.
