Tracy Spiridakos

Tracy Spiridakos (Canadian actress) is Tracy Spiridakos. She played Becky Richards on the Teletoon children's comedy show Majority Rules! From 2009 until 2010. From 2009 to 2010, she was a star in the role of Charlotte Matheson (Charlie) in the NBC series Revolution in the post-apocalyptic sci-fi series. The show was nominated to the Saturn Award as Best Actress on TV. Annika Johnson was her role on the A&E television show Bates Motel. Spiridakos was a part of the cast as Detective Hailey Upton on the TV drama of A&E, Bates Motel. Spiridakos is the character the role of Detective Hailey Upton. Spiridakos was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to Greek-born parents, who were restaurant owners George and Anastasia Spiridakos She has two brothers. The family moved to her father's hometown, Skala, Greece south of Sparta just a few years after her birth and then returned to Canada in 1992. She has a strong connection to her Greek roots and speaks fluent Greek. Spiridakos began acting at junior high school. She then attended the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. She graduated from Oak Park High School in Winnipeg in 2000. Spiridakos moved to Vancouver in 2007 to pursue acting and within weeks landed her first television role which was a small part in Supernatural. She continued to appear on TV, and was able to get walk-on parts in Bionic Woman, The L Word, Hellcats, and Psych. Spiridakos played the role in the TV movie Goblin and also in the web-based show Mortal Kombat: Legacy. Spiridakos was also a part of Being Human as the werewolf Brynn McCLean. In 2009, she was cast in her first starring role as Becky Richards, a 15-year-old girl on Canadian Teletoon's Majority Rules! Her feature film debut was in 2011 in Rise of the Planet of the Apes. In Kill for Me, she starred alongside Katie Cassidy and Donal Logue. Spiridakos played Sammi's character on Rags (2012) in the Nickelodeon original film. The character of Charlotte Matheson who is a survivalist living in a post-apocalyptic future civilisation, was her role on the NBC TV show Revolution. She auditioned while watching her pilot in Los Angeles. Spiridakos shot the pilot in Atlanta and then filmed the pilot in Wilmington, North Carolina. For her performance in the pilot, she was nominated to win the Saturn Award for Best Actress on television. She lost out to Fringe's Anna Torv. The second season of the show was filming in Austin, Texas.
