Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell, an American TV chef, and former Institute of Culinary Education instructor She is also a television personality. Burrell hosts Food Network's Secrets of a Restaurant Chef as well as the host of Worst Cooks in America. Ann Burrell's Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant chef, with her trademark sparkling blonde locks, and her bubbly up appearance, offers simple techniques that anyone can grasp. Chef Burrell had a job at the top New York restaurants and studied Italian food traditions and geography. She also competed on Food Network's Iron Chef America. As a child in the region of upstate New York area, Chef Burrell was able to discover a love of food and cooking at a young age. Following her graduation with an English and Communications degree at Canisius College in Buffalo NY she decided to follow her dream of the industry of restaurants by enrolling as a student at The Culinary Institute of America. I enjoyed every moment as a student The Culinary Institute of America she states. It was difficult to master enough and I could not accomplish enough, and I couldn't put in the effort enough. Chef Burrell was a graduate of the Culinary Institute for Foreigners in Italy spent one year working in Umbria at La Taverna del Lupo and Tuscany's La Bottega del 30, a Michelin-starred restaurant. Burrell gained a greater understanding of Italian tradition and food during her stay in Italy and this has affected her style of cooking. Burrell is a part of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board which brightens children who are facing difficulties. She also serves as a Juvenile diabetes research foundation Celebrity Ambassador where she promotes children with diabetes and awareness. As an inspirational speaker, she makes trips across the country to speak about her passion for food as well as her career in the culinary field. Anne often has mentioned throughout her culinary career she's extremely fortunate being able to communicate with people what is most important for her.
